Two Scoops Privacy Policy

Two Scoops is a community app for biracial and mixed-race people and families. It is built by L. Bullard under AuraBull. This page explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.

What we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work:

• Your email address and sign-in credentials, handled by our authentication provider, Supabase, to sign you in and keep your account secure.
• Your username and an optional mix tag that you choose to describe your background.
• Content you create: posts, replies, likes, gathering requests, and an optional profile photo.
• Private notes you write in your journal and your Root Card. These are visible only to you inside the app.
• Reports and blocks you submit, so we can keep the community safe.
• A confirmation that you are 16 or older.

Sensitive information you choose to share

Two Scoops is built for mixed-race people and families, so what you write may include racial, ethnic, family, or other identity information. This applies to your mix tag, your posts and replies, your gathering requests, your journal, and your Root Card. Sharing any of this is always your choice. We treat it as sensitive, store it under the same per-user security rules as the rest of your data, and never sell it or use it for advertising or outside tracking.

How we use it

We use your information to run the app: to show your content to the community, to power your feed, to let people gather safely, and to review reports. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or outside tracking.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, a hosted database and authentication provider, in a Canadian region. Access is restricted by per-user security rules so that people cannot read or change each other's private data. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you to use a strong, unique password.

Keeping the community safe

The app filters a short list of clear hate slurs and obvious spam before a post can be published. When that filter blocks something, a record of it is saved privately so we can review it and improve the filter. You can report content or block another person at any time, and we aim to review reports within 24 hours.

Your choices and deleting your data

You are in control of your information. Inside the app, under Profile, you can:

• Use "Delete my data" to wipe your posts, replies, likes, journal, Root Card, blocks, and profile photo while keeping your account.
• Use "Delete account" to permanently remove your account and your content.

Age requirement

Two Scoops is for people aged 16 and older. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
